Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP activities are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and UAE regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily MEP activities at the project site.
• Ensure MEP works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, fire alarm, and ELV works.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and fit-out teams.
• Review drawings and identify technical or coordination issues before execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, supervisors, and other site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests and coordinate consultant inspections.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and site progress.
• Ensure required materials are available on site according to the work schedule.
• Resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements, project QA/QC standards, and HSE procedures.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Attend site coordination and progress meetings.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain proper site documentation.
• Coordinate snagging, de-snagging, and rectification works.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Site Engineer, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Good understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, and construction procedures.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and local authority requirements.
• Experience in site coordination, inspections, testing & commissioning, and project handover.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and site teams.
• UAE experience is preferred.
