MEP Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced MEP Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across our facilities.

Only candidates with relevant UAE MEP / building maintenance experience and immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and maintenance of MEP systems and equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, air-conditioning units, ventilation systems and exhaust fans.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance, including lighting, switches, sockets, distribution boards, circuit breakers and wiring.
• Carry out plumbing repairs involving water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, flush tanks, pumps and related equipment.
• Attend to emergency breakdowns and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential faults and prevent major equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable UAE health, safety, and building regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, work orders and service reports.
• Report to Facility Head and other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance works.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.

Requirements & Qualifications

• ITI, technical trade certificate or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing are required.
• 02–4 years of hands-on experience in MEP, building maintenance or facilities management.
• Good practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic MEP-related issues independently.
• Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance requirements when required.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and documentation.
