MEPFS Engineer (Cagayan de Oro)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
• Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
• Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
• Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying risks/issues and escalate to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a Licensed Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to be mentored into higher project leadership roles.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Building Life Safety (BLS) Systems, including applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Must be knowledgeable in the installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Must be able to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders for BLS compliance and technical requirements.
