MEPFS Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

• Prepares working schedule specifying the date of commencement and completion of a particular installation project, subject to the review and approval of the Manager
• Coordinates with the immediate superior regarding the exact date of arrival of equipment at the jobsite
• Prepares manpower requirements suited to the installation budget to ensure proper personnel distribution and utilization, in coordination with the immediate superior
• Checks site conditions of the projects assigned to him for all the necessary coordination of Elevator/Escalator requirements prior to the installation work
• Coordinates with the General Contractor's representative for any problems at the jobsite in connection with the installation work
• Reports immediately to the superior any problems encountered at the jobsite and all job-site accidentsduring the course of installation work
• Checks every phase of the installation work and sees to it that technical specifications, descriptions, quality control findings, and recommendations are complied with
• Prepares and submits reports required, such as Weekly Progress Reports, Job-Site Daily Inspection Reports, and others
• Implements rigid control, proper upkeep, and maintenance of tools and equipment used at the jobsite
• Implements effective control of materials by returning excess materials to the stockroom after completion of installation work
• Sees to it that his subordinate observes company rules and safety regulations at the jobsite
• Assists the superior in the collection of accounts due on installation work assigned to him and in the acceptance of turnover to the owner
• Trains and develops his team in the efficient performance of their jobs and for their personal growth
• Adheres to IEE quality policy and the quality objectives of E/E Installation Department
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission or have at least two (2) years technical education
• Must have at least seven (7) years of related experience
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and with strong leadership potential
• Capable of teaching and training people
