Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP / HVAC Site Engineer to join our project team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will supervise HVAC and MEP site activities, coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical and other disciplines, and ensure installation works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC/MEP installation activities at site.
• Review approved HVAC drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate HVAC works with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing and fire protection teams.
• Supervise installation of ductwork, chilled water piping, HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with approved drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor manpower, materials and daily site progress.
• Raise and coordinate inspection requests.
• Identify technical clashes and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate MEP works with ceiling, structural and architectural requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and installation productivity.
• Support testing, commissioning, balancing and handover activities.
• Assist with preparation of technical and progress reports.
• Monitor snagging and ensure timely closure of outstanding works.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant MEP qualification.
• 3–7 years of relevant HVAC/MEP site experience.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation and construction practices.
• Experience with ducting, chilled water piping and HVAC equipment installation.
• Ability to read and understand HVAC/MEP drawings.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Experience dealing with consultants and subcontractors.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and handover procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with UAE building construction experience and hands-on knowledge of HVAC installation, MEP coordination, testing and commissioning will be preferred.
