Responsibilities

• Stock shelves efficiently by unloading shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring products are organized according to merchandising standards
• Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movement and update stock records in real-time
• Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, monitoring product levels, and reporting discrepancies promptly
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading merchandise safely, following proper manual handling practices
• Support produce and retail store product knowledge through proper packaging, labeling, and presentation of items to maximize sales potential
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the stockroom and sales floor to uphold safety standards and ensure a tidy environment
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments using strong organizational skills to coordinate stocking schedules and prioritize tasks

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management systems and stock handling procedures
• Proficiency with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners is advantageous
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse team members and customers
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, heavy lifting techniques, safe lifting practices, and basic math skills are essential for success in this role
• Strong customer service orientation combined with excellent organizational skills will help create a positive shopping environment for all visitors
• Experience working with inventory control systems or retail merchandising practices will support your ability to excel in this position

Pay: $23.78 - $28.64 per hour
