We are building a small office team to support products, online sales and customer experience. About the role

We are looking for a Merchandise Developer to turn creative ideas into physical products, from the first brief to warehouse delivery. You will work directly with the brand owner, who also leads creative direction, manage suppliers and production schedules, and propose new products based on customer needs. This role suits someone who can build clear working processes and follow projects through without daily reminders.

Key responsibilities

 Research customer needs, relevant trends and comparable products. Suggest merchandise ideaswith a clear audience, purpose and commercial rationale.

 Turn approved ideas into product briefs and specifications covering materials, dimensions, colours, printing, packaging and quality requirements. Prepare basic sketches or mockups and coordinate specialist design support when needed.

 Source and compare local or overseas manufacturers. Negotiate quotations, minimum order quantities, lead times and payment terms, and maintain reliable supplier records and backup options.

 Prepare cost sheets covering samples, production, packaging, shipping and other relevant costs. Recommend quantities and pricing options for approval before committing company funds.

 Manage sample requests, versions and feedback. Coordinate revisions, keep approved samples andarrange appropriate quality or product-safety checks with specialist support when required.

 Build production timelines working backwards from launch dates. Track approvals, production and shipping, and raise delays or quality risks early with practical options.

 Hand over accurate product codes, quantities, packaging details, arrival dates and inspection criteria to Inventory. Give the Content team confirmed product information before launch.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for around 3-5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent hands-on experience supported by clear examples of your work is welcome.

 Experience with physical products such as clothing, gifts, homeware, lifestyle items or pet accessories. You can explain a project from the first brief to delivery.

 Ability to calculate costs, compare suppliers, read product specifications and manage samples. You can give examples of solving cost, quality or timing problems.

 Ability to build useful cost sheets and trackers in Excel or Google Sheets. Keep files and changes organised.

 Clear communication in Thai and working English for supplier documents and correspondence. Follow up professionally and request decisions when needed.

 Ability to turn a goal into practical steps without waiting for a complete process. Pay attention to quality, how a product is used and suitable materials for pet products.

Additional experience we value

Illustrator or Photoshop skills, overseas supplier experience, packaging knowledge or product testing experience are useful. Experience in a small team is also helpful. You do not need to be a specialist designer in every area.

How you will work with the team

You will report directly to the Brand Owner, who also serves as Creative Director and leads product vision, creative direction and approval of concepts and designs. You will work with Inventory, Fulfillment and Content, lead supplier coordination, and prepare budgets, order quantities, pricing recommendations and production plans for approval through the company's agreed approval process before committing funds or placing orders.

Your first 90 days

The probation period is 90 days. We will agree priorities and review progress with you regularly, considering the quality of your work, follow-through, communication and the usefulness of the processes you create.

 First 30 days: understand current products and suppliers, establish a shared project tracker, and agree priorities with the brand owner, who also leads creative direction.

 By 60 days: manage an assigned project through its agreed brief, costing and sample milestones, with clear feedback and approval records.

 By 90 days: demonstrate reliable project follow-up, early risk reporting and useful handover documents. Milestones will reflect actual production lead times.SAUS COMPANION CO., LTD.

Working arrangements

Location T.Y. Court, 968 Thong Lo Road (Soi Sukhumvit 55), Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110.

Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional Saturday half-days scheduled in advance. Rest breaks and any applicable overtime or holiday pay follow Thai labour law. Work is mainly office-based, with in-person sample reviews and team coordination. Occasional work from home is negotiable in advance when the assigned work allows it.

Start date Availability to start within one month is an advantage. Please include your earliest available start date in your application.
