Merchandise Planning & Analysis Executive

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance by brand, category, collection, store, and price point to identify declining trends and growth opportunities.
• Analyze historical sales data to recommend buying quantities, category mix, and sales forecasts for new collections.
• Monitor inventory aging, stock cover, sell-through, and stock imbalances to identify excess or insufficient stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate promotion and pricing performance by assessing discount effectiveness, gross margin impact, and sales by price point.
• Prepare performance dashboards, track approved action plans, and report results and areas for improvement.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in fashion retail or a related industry, preferably in merchandise planning or sales analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales data analysis.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledgeable in sales forecasting, inventory management, pricing, and gross margin analysis.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively across departments.
