Merchandise Planning Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing merchandise plans that align with company goals and financial targets
• Analyzing sales data to identify risks and opportunities in specific areas - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, product development, marketing, sales, and finance to ensure effective communication and alignment of merchandise plans.
• Adjusting merchandise plans based on store display and storage capacity, sales performance, and market trends
• Manage pricing strategies and promotional activities
• Developing new systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the merchandise planning function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or college degree in business, finance, marketing or related field
• At least 2-3 year of experience in merchandise planning or retail buying
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Proven ability to manage people and has a strong attention to detail
• Amenable to working in San Juan
