Dantex Pro Ltd is a multinational trading and manufacturing company based in Hong Kong.  We specialize in consumer products like shoes and sporting goods.  We serve premium global customers in a fast-paced environment.  We are looking for a proactive Merchandiser to join our team and manage products from sampling to mass production.

About the Role

We are expanding our team and seeking an expert Merchandiser to manage our development and production processes.  We need a manufacturing professional who is comfortable diving into basic technical topics, enjoys learning new technologies, and takes true ownership of their projects.  You will act as a key bridge between our US customer and Asia factories, driving projects forward in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full workflow from sampling and development to order processing and mass production
• Coordinate with manufacturers, learning to communicate basic technical and quality points with the support of our internal team
• Find reliable vendors, issue Purchase Orders (POs), and monitor lab testing protocols
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure samples are executed correctly and approved by international customers on time
• Partner actively with US customers and regional Asia suppliers to ensure alignment on all project requirements
• Proactively learn and adopt new internal and external technologies to optimize and drive workflows forward

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Diploma (Merchandising or Supply Chain is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in trading or manufacturing.  Experience in sporting goods is a plus
• Willingness to learn basic technical product standards and discuss quality issues with factories (team training provided)
• A strong sense of ownership, high resilience under pressure, and a commitment to collaborative teamwork
• Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to communicate across US clients and factories in Asia
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and communication tools (WeChat, WhatsApp, MS Teams)
