Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for merchandising activities, purchase order execution, follow up with buyers and suppliers, monitor shipment fulfilment.

·         Follow-up orders from sampling, production to delivery.

·         Participate in price negotiation, raw material and factory sourcing.

·         Efficient communication with different department in the company.

·         Ensure product quality, delivery and price objectives are met our requirements.

Requirements:

·         University Graduate / F.7 Graduate preferred.

·      3+ years’ experience in a buying/trading environment.

·         Strong product, supplier and cost knowledge essential.

·         Excellent in product/vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.

·         Experience of shipping duties.

·         Demonstrable ability to work independently and under pressure, to manage and achieve tight deadlines.

·         Ability to work as a team member.

·         Excellent English is a must, proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.

·         Manage end-to-end import and export shipment operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

·         Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal teams on shipment arrangements.

·         Compare freight rate and negotiate with logistics partners to achieve cost-effective shipping solutions.

·         Prepare and handle full sets of shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

·         Follow up on freight and supplier payments with finance and related parties.

·         Identify and escalate shipment delays or operational issues proactively.

·         Support ad-hoc logistics projects and process improvement initiatives.
