Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities

1. Material & Production Preparation

• Review Design Sheets and summarize required fabrics, raw materials, and accessories for production.
• Coordinate with relevant teams and suppliers to ensure all required materials are available according to the production plan.

2. Costing & Quotation

• Coordinate with Vendors / Factories to obtain and confirm production quotations.
• Review product costs and ensure quotations are aligned with approved product requirements.
• Follow up on quotation revisions when there are changes to materials or product specifications.

3. Production Order & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with Vendors to confirm orders and production requirements.
• Follow up with Vendors on order confirmation, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure production information and requirements are clearly communicated to the Factory.

4. Production Handover

• Receive products after Development Team approval / PPS approval.
• Follow up on measurement charts, full-size patterns, production specifications, and other requirements before production starts.
• Ensure the Factory has all necessary information to proceed with production.

5. Production Tracking

• Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and follow up on production status with Vendors / Factories.
• Track production progress from the start of production through completion.
• Identify and communicate production delays or issues that may affect the delivery timeline.

6. Material & Production Follow-up

• Track fabrics, raw materials, and accessories throughout the production process.
• Coordinate with Vendors / Factories to resolve material shortages, production issues, or delays.
• Ensure production materials are available in accordance with the production schedule.

7. Quality Control

• Coordinate with the QC Team to arrange product inspections.
• Follow up on QC inspection results and communicate quality issues to Vendors / Factories.
• Coordinate and follow up on rework / corrections for products that do not meet the required quality standards.

8. Delivery & Warehouse Coordination

• Monitor final production status and confirm products are ready for delivery.
• Coordinate with Vendors / Factories regarding delivery schedules.
• Follow up on products until all units are delivered to the Warehouse according to the PO and agreed timeline.
• Ensure the correct quantity and required quality are received.

Key Objective

To ensure all assigned products are produced on time, according to the approved specifications and quality standards, and delivered to the Warehouse within the agreed timeline.
