Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for a data-driven and commercially minded Merchandising professional to help drive sales, optimize inventory, and ensure the right products are available across our retail and online channels.

You will be responsible for sales forecasting, stock allocation, inventory planning, and product performance analysis, turning data and market trends into actionable strategies that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales, market trends, and seasonal demand to develop accurate sales forecasts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans based on actual sales performance.
• Plan and manage stock allocation across retail outlets, e-commerce platforms, and marketplaces.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment, stock transfers, and balancing strategies.
• Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-performing products and recommend appropriate actions.
• Track key merchandising metrics including sell-through, stock cover, inventory turnover, and stock aging.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Retail, E-Commerce, Warehouse, and Operations teams on campaigns and product launches.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and recommendations for management.

What You’ll Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Retail, Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel experience with Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS is a needs.
• Understanding of inventory planning, sales forecasting, and stock management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced fashion and retail environment.
• Proactive, commercially aware, and able to turn data into actionable business decisions.
