About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Merchandiser to join the team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in enhancing product visibility and driving sales through strategic product placement, promotion execution, and retail excellence. This position is essential to our retail operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product displays and promotional campaigns in assigned retail locations to maximise product visibility and shelf appeal
• Ensure products are stocked correctly, clearly priced, and positioned according to company standards and planograms
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements to management to maintain adequate product availability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail staff to facilitate smooth product placement and promotions
• Conduct regular store visits to audit product positioning, pricing accuracy, and compliance with merchandising guidelines
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving product placement and sales performance
• Assist in the development and implementation of promotional materials and point-of-sale displays
• Maintain detailed records of merchandising activities, sales data, and promotional results
• Represent the company professionally and uphold brand standards across all retail touchpoints

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Merchandiser or in a similar retail-focused role within the consumer products or retail sector
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and locations effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with store staff and management
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product presentation and merchandising
• Physical capability to perform regular on-feet duties, including reaching, bending, and lifting as required
• Familiarity with retail environments and understanding of merchandising principles and best practices
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and addressing merchandising opportunities
• Knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems is advantageous
• Valid driver's license or access to reliable transportation for visiting multiple retail locations
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
