Merchandiser

• Receive customer orders and review buyer requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with buyers regarding order confirmation, pricing, product specifications, and amendments.
• Prepare and maintain order status reports and order-wise follow-up sheets.
• Coordinate with the design team for artwork, prints, patterns, and product development.
• Follow up on fabric requirements, greige fabric availability, processing, dyeing, printing, and finishing.
• Coordinate with the purchase department for trims, accessories, labels, packing materials, and other requirements.
• Follow up on sample development, lab dips, strike-offs, fit samples, and buyer approvals.
• Ensure fabric quality parameters such as GSM, width, shade, shrinkage, thread count, and other buyer specifications are met.
• Coordinate with the production, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing departments to achieve delivery schedules.
• Monitor production progress and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Ensure approved samples and buyer specifications are followed during bulk production.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Arrange pre-final and final inspections and ensure buyer quality standards are met.
• Monitor order-wise material consumption, wastage, and fabric utilization.
• Coordinate with the logistics and dispatch teams for shipment planning and on-time delivery.
• Prepare packing lists, invoice details, shipping documents, and other export-related documents in coordination with the concerned departments.
• Maintain order costing, consumption details, and profitability records.
• Follow up on buyer complaints, claims, and corrective actions.
• Update the management on order status, production progress, pending approvals, and delivery risks.
• Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, approvals, samples, inspection reports, and shipment records.
• Ensure coordination between the buyer, merchandising, production, quality, purchase, stores, and dispatch teams.
• Support the management in achieving on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and order profitability
