Merchandiser

About the role

The Merchandiser is responsible for managing and maintaining the premium cookware product display at the retail store while providing knowledgeable and attentive customer service. The role focuses on ensuring that cookware and related products are properly displayed, stocked, and presented according to brand standards. They will actively engage with customers, explain product features and benefits, answer inquiries, recommend suitable products, and support sales through effective product demonstrations and upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining high customer service standards
• Promote premium cookware products, answer customer inquiries, and explain product features, benefits, and key selling points
• Recommend suitable products based on customers' needs, preferences, and intended use
• Support sales targets by actively engaging customers and encouraging product purchases
• Monitor stock levels and product condition, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies when necessary
• Receive, verify, organize, and replenish merchandise to maintain adequate stock on the sales floor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing product display in accordance with brand and merchandising guidelines
• Ensure price tags, product information, promotional materials, and signage are accurate and properly displayed
• Provide regular updates on sales, inventory, customer inquiries, commonly requested products, and customer feedback
• Coordinate with retail store staff and management regarding daily operations, stock movements, promotions, display updates, and other brand-related activities
