Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive Merchandiser with experience in apparel merchandising, fabric sourcing, and vendor management. The candidate should be able to coordinate product requirements, source materials at competitive prices, manage suppliers, and ensure timely execution with the required quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source fabrics and other required materials, identify new suppliers, and develop reliable vendor relationships.
• Understand fabric types, composition, GSM, quality parameters, and suitability for different apparel products.
• Manage vendors, negotiate prices and payment terms, and ensure competitive costing
• Compare vendor quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.]
• Ensure fabric quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with design, production, and QC teams for fabric requirements.
• Maintain vendor details, price lists, and sourcing records.

Required Skills:

• 3–6 years of experience in fabric merchandising or sourcing.
• Strong technical knowledge of fabrics and textiles.
• Hands-on experience in fabric sourcing and vendor development.
• Excellent negotiation and costing skills.
• Good vendor management and communication skills.
• Apparel or fashion e-commerce experience will be preferred.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
