Job Summary: The Merchandiser at department store will manage product selection and inventory levels, ensuring effective presentation and optimal stock to meet sales goals . This role combines merchandising strategy with purchasing responsibilities to enhance store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and visual appeal.
• Source and purchase products, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing and merchandising decisions.
• Monitor inventory levels, adjust orders as needed, and manage stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product offerings with promotions and seasonal trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
