MERCHANDISING ASSOCIATE

Job Summary

The Inventory Management and Merchandising Staff is responsible for monitoring product

availability, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring effective product presentation

across all stores. The role ensures that inventory accuracy and display standards support

sales performance and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels across branches and warehouses to ensure timely replenishment.

• Coordinate with purchasing and product teams regarding stock movements, transfers,

and replenishment plans.

• Track product aging, slow-moving items, and coordinate markdown or pull-out

schedules.

• Update and maintain inventory databases and reports (e.g., stock status, DSI, and

turnover rates).

• Support product allocation and distribution based on sales trends and branch

performance.

Merchandising

• Ensure all product displays follow company standards for visibility and brand

alignment.

• Implement product placement strategies to maximize sales opportunities.

• Coordinate with store personnel for proper execution of promotions and product

updates.

• Monitor and report display condition, signage accuracy, and compliance with

planograms.

• Assist in visual merchandising planning during seasonal campaigns or product launches.

Reporting and Coordination

• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory and display reports.

• Coordinate with the Product Department for merchandising and inventory-related

concerns.

• Provide feedback on product movement, sell-through, and branch performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or

any IT-related course.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of retail merchandising standards and inventory processes.

• Experience with product display or stockroom management is a plus.
