About the role

Merchandising Manager responsible for negotiating with suppliers in buying and merchandising products to ensure effective operations within approved plans and budget, while achieving profitability and gross sales.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers in buying and merchandising products to ensure effective operations within approved plans and budget, and achieve profitability and gross sales
• Monitor stock to ensure stock and gross sales performance aligning with policy
• Monitor analysis of market, trends, product popularity, customers, and relevant product information to prepare for product management planning
• Research for new products interested by target group to satisfy customer needs and drive gross sales
• Collect other income to support income and achieve gross sales as planned
• Coordinate with suppliers in terms of documentation to manage relevant documents aligning with policy and regulations
• Provide knowledge and updates about products and shelf organizing to operation team
• Build and maintain relationship with partners

About you

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Great understanding in marketing system related to organization business
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Light Bulb knowledge
• Experience with local and overseas suppliers
• Pro-active and reactive approach
• Sense for organization
• Proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Pack
