M&A Manager - Healthcare Buy-and-Build - Hamburg, Germany

Metis Search are currently partnered with a dynamic Healthcare Buy-and-Build looking to grow their M&A team in Hamburg. This is the opportunity to join an established brand, to execute on a healthy pipeline, focusing on inorganic growth projects, managing stakeholders and implementing strategy plans.

This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior decision-makers, and the chance to transition into an operational M&A role.

Responsibilities:

• Support on the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic acquisitions and inorganic growth initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end transaction execution, including valuation, financial modelling, due diligence and stakeholder management.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape and deliver the company’s long-term buy-and-build strategy.
• Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support inorganic growth efforts.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple priorities and deal timelines.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on growth, execution, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of end-to-end M&A execution work from Investment Banking, Boutique or Private Equity.
• Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
• Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
• Strong analytical mindset, resourceful, and comfortable in working autonomously & in a team.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
• Experience in Healthcare is not a requirement.
• The successful candidate must speak fluent/native German and be able to work from the Hamburg office.
