Job Summary

Tata Technologies is hiring an MES Application Support Engineer for its Sanand Plant 2. The candidate will be responsible for MES application support, troubleshooting, development, testing, commissioning, and shop-floor system integration in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide MES application support and sustenance for production operations.
• Troubleshoot MES, application, hardware/interface, and shop-floor issues.
• Support application development, testing, deployment, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with business users and IT infrastructure teams.
• Support integration between MES, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow ITIL processes.
• Ensure smooth MES operations and minimize production downtime.

• SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
• PLC: Siemens / Allen-Bradley / GE
• HMI & SCADA
• GE Cimplicity
• OPC DA/UA & Modbus RTU/TCP
• Ethernet/IP & Profibus
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

Industry Preference

Candidates from Automotive, Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing IT backgrounds will be preferred.

Education

BE / B.Tech / MCA Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.

Candidate Profile

• 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience in MES / Manufacturing IT / Application Support / Industrial Automation
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willing to work in A, B & C rotational shifts.
