MES Lead

Role: MES Lead / Architect (Critical Manufacturing)

Location: Leuven, Belgium

Experience: 10 years

We are looking for an experienced MES Lead / Architect with strong expertise in Critical Manufacturing (CM MES) to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of MES solutions across global manufacturing sites. This role requires a combination of technical leadership, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and hands-on MES implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MES solution architecture, design, and implementation initiatives.
• Conduct customer workshops, fit-gap assessments, and solution review sessions.
• Define MES integration strategies, deployment models, and multi-site rollout approaches.
• Design scalable and robust MES solutions aligned with business and manufacturing requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentoring to project teams.
• Support project planning, estimation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Strong expertise in Critical Manufacturing (CM MES) .
• Proven experience leading MES implementations and digital manufacturing transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, .NET, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations .
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Semiconductor, Medical Devices, or Life Sciences industries.
• Experience leading global or multi-site MES deployments.
• Critical Manufacturing certification is preferred.
• Experience working within complex enterprise manufacturing environments.
