MES Software Engineer

Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Manufacturing Digitalization / SCADA

Location: Dexter, MI (Preferred: 4 days onsite/week)

Type: W2 contract

Contract: 12 months

Travel: Approximately 15%

Key Skills Required:

Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA – configuration, programming, and deployment

Python and PostgreSQL / SQL

Manufacturing digitalization and software development

Experience with regulated manufacturing environments

Software design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation

Cross-functional collaboration and global/multi-site deployment support

Preferred Skills:

MES and digital manufacturing systems

Power BI, Tableau, and analytics platforms

PLC programming (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

Linux, Docker/Podman, and SQL/NoSQL databases

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 7+ years with a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
