MES Specialist

A Snapshot of Your Day As an MES Specialist in the manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the manufacturing execution systems that enable efficient and reliable production. Working closely with the manufacturing organization, you will act as an important link between shopfloor operations, support installing applications from a catalogue, IT and other business functions.

The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting turbine head production in Budapest and contributing to the digitalization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Serve as the main MES point of contact for manufacturing employees, providing user support and ensuring effective system utilization.
• Deliver first-level functional and IT support, resolving MES-related incidents and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Partner with production and shopfloor teams to gather business requirements and identify opportunities for process, system, and workflow improvements.
• Act as a key interface between manufacturing, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Support MES projects, system enhancements, testing, implementations, and global digitalization initiatives.
• Contribute to stable manufacturing operations by driving continuous improvement, root cause analysis, sustainable solutions, and supporting access to manufacturing tools and applications.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing, production support, or IT environment
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of SAP and related business processes is considered an advantage
• IT-related education or previous experience in IT, digitalization, or manufacturing systems is a plus
• Fluent English skills; German language proficiency is beneficial
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and continuously develop professional competencies
