About the role

OPEN INNOVATION INC. is seeking a reliable and professional Messenger to join our team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. As a Messenger, you will be responsible for the timely and secure delivery of documents, parcels and other items to various locations throughout Metro Manila. This role is essential to maintaining efficient communication and logistics within our organisation and with our external partners and clients.

What you'll be doing

• Collecting and delivering documents, parcels and packages to designated recipients within Metro Manila
• Planning optimal delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all deliveries and collections
• Handling items with care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
• Obtaining signatures and confirmation of receipt from recipients
• Liaising with office staff and external parties to arrange pickups and deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle or using designated courier methods
• Reporting any delays, issues or discrepancies promptly to management
• Adhering to health, safety and company policies at all times
• Representing OPEN INNOVATION INC. professionally in all customer interactions

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's license (if applicable to the role) or reliable transport to fulfil delivery obligations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
• Physical fitness and capability to handle packages of varying sizes and weights
• Knowledge of Metro Manila geography and familiarity with major routes and locations
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining delivery records and documentation
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules
• Ability to work independently and make decisions to resolve delivery challenges
• Experience in courier, postal or logistics services is highly desirable
• Fluency in English and/or Filipino for effective customer communication
