Messenger / Driver

About the role

The Messenger/Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transport of official documents, government transmittals, and clinical specimens. This role handles external field runs to various government agencies and partner laboratories while ensuring all confidentiality, security, and safety protocols are strictly followed.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver, submit, and process official documents and transmittals to government offices (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DSWD, City Hall, and local social hygiene units)
• Safely transport medical specimens, laboratory samples, and diagnostic requisitions to partner reference labs or external testing facilities following proper storage and handling guidelines
• Transport internal mail, administrative files, inter-office documents, and small supplies between facilities or partner institutions
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections (gas, oil, water, brakes, tires), keep assigned vehicles clean, and schedule routine maintenance
• Maintain accurate daily trip logs, record dispatch details, ensure all receiving copies/acknowledgments are signed, and collect receipts for liquidation

About you

• High School Diploma, Senior High School Graduate, or College Graduate / College Level
• Valid Driver's License (Professional or Non-Professional with appropriate restrictions for motorcycle and/or light vehicles)
• Familiarity with routes in the local area
• Basic knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance checks
• High level of integrity, punctuality, and attention to detail when handling sensitive files and specimens
