Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Engineer with 2–4 years of UAE experience in metal fabrication, engineering drawings, and site coordination. The candidate should have practical knowledge of metal works, fabrication processes, material specifications, and installation procedures for interior fit-out and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details for metal works.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, draftsmen, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan and supervise metal fabrication and installation activities according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Take site measurements and prepare material requirements and cutting lists.
• Ensure the proper selection and use of metal materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other specified materials.
• Monitor fabrication quality, dimensions, welding, finishing, and installation standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and workshop teams regarding material availability and fabrication schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to metal works.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare progress reports, material lists, and other technical documentation as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant UAE experience in metal fabrication, metal works, or construction/interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of fabrication processes, welding methods, metal materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is preferred.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with workshop and site teams.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and site safety requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in custom metal fabrication and interior fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and decorative metal works.
• Strong attention to detail, quality control, and project deadlines.
