Metal Fabricator experienced or apprenticeship

We are looking for another person to join our team, either a trainee for apprenticeship or an experienced metal fabricator. This role offers a variety of jobs in the everyday. There will be opportunities to develop skills in other construction tasks, including some plant and equipment operation. You will work within a small team in a friendly environment with multi skilled tradesmen.

Based in Kings Meadows, Launceston but also working across the state, this role will include some overtime, be located both indoors and outdoors and you will work at a range of locations in the field.

In this position you may be working on projects where weekly work will be outside the Launceston area, so please consider whether you are willing to stay away from home during the week before you apply.

Pay rates as per Metal Fabrication -Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations award MA00000010

The successful candidate will:

• Be motivated by a genuine interest in the fabrication industry
• Be able to undertake daily routine manual/physical work
• Be trustworthy and reliable
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Be available to work away from home weekdays

• Manual Driver's Licence
• To provide a National Police Record Check
