Metal Finisher - Putty Application & Sanding

CTF Consoles is a Dubai-based manufacturer of technical furniture and control room consoles. We have 2 openings for this role in our production workshop in Dubai.

Job Purpose

Prepare fabricated metal furniture and console components for final coating by applying fillers, levelling surfaces and sanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply metal-compatible putty to weld joints, seams, dents and surface imperfections.
• Prepare and apply fillers in accordance with product instructions.
• Sand and level filled surfaces to achieve a smooth, uniform finish.
• Inspect components for pinholes, scratches, depressions and surface irregularities.
• Carry out repeat filling and sanding where required.
• Prepare surfaces for primer, painting or powder coating, as applicable.
• Ensure finished surfaces meet approved samples and production standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–4 years of experience in metal finishing, bodywork or industrial surface preparation.
• Practical experience in putty application, sanding and defect correction on metal.
• Knowledge of abrasive grades and surface preparation techniques.
• Ability to identify and correct finishing defects before final coating.

General Requirements

• Relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication or workshop operations.
• Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions and role-specific quality standards.
• Strong focus on workmanship, productivity, safety and material handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, assembly, finishing and quality-control teams.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing workshop environment in Dubai, UAE.
• Relevant trade qualifications and experience in technical furniture or console manufacturing are an advantage.
• Prefer candidates available for immediate transfer.

Salary: AED 1,500 - 2,000 per month

Candidates may be asked to complete a practical assessment as part of the selection process.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
