METAL STRUCTURE FABRICATION ESTIMATOR

We are looking for a skilled Metal Structure Fabrication Estimator with 2–3 years of experience in structural steel and metal fabrication to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for metal and structural steel fabrication projects.
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and steel weight calculations.
• Read and interpret structural, architectural, and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare and review AutoCAD shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Calculate quantities for steel beams, columns, channels, angles, plates, tubes, pipes, and other metal sections.
• Prepare cutting lists, material lists, and fabrication details.
• Estimate material, labour, welding, cutting, painting, and installation costs.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams.
• Prepare revised quotations for variations and assist with tender submissions.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years in metal structure or structural steel fabrication estimation.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Ability to read structural drawings and prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Knowledge of steel weight calculations and fabrication costing.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
