Metal Supervisor

The Metal Supervisor is responsible for supervising metal and aluminium fabrication, material selection, and site installation activities. The role requires practical knowledge of different metal and aluminium materials, their properties, applications, and suitability for various project requirements. The supervisor must ensure quality workmanship, proper material usage, safety compliance, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise metal and aluminium fabrication, installation, and site activities.
• Have good knowledge of different metal and aluminium materials, their grades, thicknesses, finishes, and applications.
• Identify and select suitable materials for different applications based on project requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication details.
• Supervise cutting, drilling, welding, bending, fitting, and installation of metal and aluminium components.
• Ensure quality workmanship, accurate measurements, proper finishing, and compliance with approved drawings.
• Manage and allocate daily tasks to workers, monitor productivity, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, store teams, and other site supervisors.
• Monitor material requirements, prevent wastage and damage, and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct site visits, monitor installation progress, and report work progress, material requirements, and site issues to management.

Experience and Requirements

· Experience: 4–6 years of UAE experience as a Metal Supervisor.

· Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of metal and aluminium materials, fabrication methods, material selection, and installation.

· Driving Licence: Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
