Metallurgist

Key Responsibilities

• Test raw materials and finished stainless steel tubes for quality and strength.

• Inspect microstructure using lab tools like microscopes and spectrometers.

• Oversee heat treatment processes like annealing to get the right metal hardness.

• Check failed parts to find the root cause of defects.

• Make sure products meet global standards like ASTM, ASME, and ISO.

• Write technical reports and guide the production team on metal behavior.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering is mandatory.

• Experience with testing methods like tensile testing, PMI, and hardness testing.

• Good problem-solving and safety skills in a factory setting.

• English proficiency is a must.
