Metallurgy Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and metallurgical inspections before and after heat treatment processes.
• Operate metrology equipment such as CMM, hardness testers, and other inspection tools.
• Support heat treatment operations (Nitriding, Tempering, and Quenching) and monitor product quality.
• Analyze hardness, case depth, distortion, and other quality-related characteristics.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve quality and process issues.
• Support process improvement, new product introduction (NPI), and process validation activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Metrology, Quality, Heat Treatment, or related areas.
• Knowledge of Engineering Drawings and GD&T.
• Understanding of heat treatment processes and material behavior.
• Experience with CMM, hardness testing, or other inspection equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and process capability (Cp/Cpk) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
