Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Metallurgy Officer to support laboratory testing, material analysis, quality control, and production-related metallurgical activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Chemistry, and an interest in working within a manufacturing and metal-processing industry.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Assist in laboratory testing and analysis of metals and metal-related materials.
• Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
• Perform routine chemical tests in accordance with established procedures.
• Record, analyze, and maintain accurate laboratory and test results.
• Support quality control activities throughout the production process.
• Monitor material composition and identify deviations from required specifications.
• Assist in investigating quality issues and production-related material variations.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and disposal of laboratory chemicals and samples.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of basic chemistry, laboratory procedures, and analytical techniques.
• Basic knowledge of metals, alloys, material composition, and quality testing is an advantage.
• Ability to accurately conduct tests, record results, and interpret basic analytical data.
• Good knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
