Method Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and standardize production processes, assembly sequences, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Conduct time studies, cycle-time analysis, line balancing, and productivity improvement.
• Troubleshoot process issues in Winding, Turning, Pressing/Assembly, Soldering, Welding, etc.
• Design and improve tools, jigs, fixtures, machinery, and plant layouts.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and process data using SAP/ERP/MES.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions for process failures.
• Conduct part/process inspection using measuring instruments.
• Prepare reports and analyze data using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and process optimization.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
