Methodology Research Assistant - Reference Material Analysis Lab

Job Brief We are looking for a Research Assistant to perform sample preparation, laboratory testing, data analysis, and documentation in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. The role involves operating laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results, maintaining compliance with SOPs, and supporting the development and validation of laboratory methods.

Job Description

• Applying quality controls standards in the laboratory
• Receive, log, and prepare samples for testing, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
• Perform laboratory tests and experiments to analyze samples and generate accurate and reliable data.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Handle samples with care and precision, performing analyses in strict accordance with established procedures and test methods.
• Record and document test results, observations, and any deviations from expected outcomes.
• Analyze and interpret data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Participate in the development and validation of new laboratory methods and procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision in testing.

Must-have Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Biotechnology, Science, Pharmacy or relevant scientific speciality.
• 1:3 years of Methodology experience in Pharmaceutical company or QC laboratories.
• Good command of both written and spoken in English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in analytical work.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in HPLC/GC operations.
