Metrology Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and input the test and measurement requirement and methodology for new drawing/part/tooling/fixture.
• Create MSOP for New Product Introduction and existing products.
• Train Technicians/Inspectors on the use of the measurement/testing equipment and established MSOP.
• Maintain and ensures calibration of the measurement/test equipment as per ISO 17025 requirements or otherwise stated standards.
• Design and coordinate to fabricate jig for measurement / test purpose.
• Source, review and recommend new measurement / test equipment.
• Perform MSA – GRR and correlation (Internal and external with customer).
• Ensures FA measurement data are correct and provide initial analysis.
• Frequent travel is required for business needs, especially to Singapore.
• Perform other tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Material / QA Engineering or with relevant industry/ experiences.
• Good knowledge and experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD& T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
• Practical knowledge and experience in operation OMM and CMM, with the ability to perform CMM programming.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
