Metrology Engineer

Seeking a Metrology Engineer to support precision measurement and quality assurance activities in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for verifying product conformance through the use of CMMs, Faro Arms, laser trackers, and advanced metrology software while collaborating closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, articulated arms, and laser trackers
• Program and operate Verisurf (PolyWorks experience preferred)
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
• Support First Article, in-process, and final inspections
• Generate inspection reports and maintain measurement records
• Assist with root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of metrology equipment

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of metrology experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, CAD models, and dimensional inspection techniques
• Experience with CMM programming and operation
• Familiarity with Verisurf, Faro, Leica, or similar metrology systems
