MFD Technician/Painter

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a motivated Painter / Treatments Process Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, masking, inspecting, and processing precision components in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and mask components for painting and treatment processes.
• Apply aerospace coatings using spray equipment and associated plant.
• Carry out surface treatment operations and visual inspections.
• Complete process documentation accurately.
• Maintain equipment and work areas to high housekeeping and safety standards.
• Adhere to all quality, environmental, COSHH, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

Skills:

• Experience in painting, coatings, manufacturing, engineering, or surface treatments.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to follow work instructions and specifications.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

• Aerospace or industrial painting.
• Surface treatments, plating, anodising, or chemical processing.
• Working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
