MFG Line Lead

Purpose of the Position:

Lead daily activities for an assigned production area by coordinating associates, maintaining production flow, and ensuring materials, training, and resources are available. Support production by working on the line as needed to prevent downtime.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily operations of the assigned proudction line.

2. Assign work and balance manpower to meet production goals.

3. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to prevent line downtime.

4. Ensure associates are trained and follow SOPs and work instructions.

5. Perform production tasks as needed to maintain production flow.

6. Coach associates and suport daily performance improvement.

7. Coordinate with Warehouse, Material Handiling, Quality, and Engineering to resolce production issues.

8. Maintain WIP, inventory accuracy, and system transactions using SFC.

9. Perform other duties and special projects as asssigned by management.

Education and Work Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Office and manufacturing floor environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and interaction with production associates
• May be required to work overtime, weekends, or respond to production emergencies as business needs.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills:

• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and production flow
• Leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to read and write in English
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus

Language:

Fluent in English required; ability to speak Chinese (Mandarin) or Spanish proficiency is a plus.
