Mgr - Construction

The Mgr – Construction will be responsible for organization, implementation, scheduling and overall completion and acceptance of construction projects.

• Oversee and direct construction project from conception to completion, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the planning, materials, building, and budget of a construction projects; and negotiates and provides cost estimates.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations and plans.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors including writing subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Select and oversee the work of specialized contractors and employees, and ensures work is delivered on time and on budget with the utmost quality.
• Report on status and progress of project and budget matters to management and/or clients.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems, and resolve any emerging issues, delays, emergencies, etc.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks both for the company as well as workers on site.
• Select appropriate construction methods and strategies; and schedules and coordinates construction processes so that projects meet design specifications.
• Mentor, coach, train and develop team.
