Microbiology Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Assist the department head to complete the establishment of microbial control/monitoring/management procedures and develop the WIs for microbiology testing
• Assist the department head to complete the validation of microbiology lab, such as test methods validation, equipment validation, HVAC system Validation, process water validation, etc.
• Responsible for the daily maintenance and microbial tests of microbiology lab, such as bioburden test, TAL/LAL test, sterility test
• Participate in process sterilization validation, cleaning validation, disinfection validation, and complete process validation related microbial tests
• Responsible for environmental maintenance management and cleanliness (microbe, particle) monitoring of clean workshops
• Responsible for the basic knowledge training of microbiology and sterilization to improve the team's awareness of microbial pollution control

About you

• College degree or above, such as microbiology, pharmacy or other related majors
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in microbial control/testing
• Solid experience in microbiology lab and related microbiological test & method validation
• Relevant practical experience in sterile product control and utilizing multiple sterilization technologies (Ethylene oxide and moist heat)
• Have effective problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Good in English reading and writing skills, good spoken English is preferred
• Proactive, dependable, detail oriented
