Title: Microbiology / Molecular Biology Laboratory Technician
Location: San Jose, CA 95134
Duration: 0-4+ Months
Shift: Monday to Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00/Hour

Job Description:

• Manufacture and qualify microplates using computers, tools, and automated machines.
• Follow established procedures to set up, fill, and test various microplates.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and other data analysis software.
• Participate in group problem-solving and process improvement activities.
• Must have strong attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Required: AS degree in Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering Technology and 2+ years of technical, manufacturing, or laboratory experience.
• Experience with centrifuges, micropipettes, and analytical balances required.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, MS Access, and Windows Explorer.
• Preferred: Automation, plate readers, liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton), SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
• Ability to perform repetitive work and lift/move/carry equipment up to 35 lbs.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
