Here, you’ll get to know them, understand their challenges and develop solutions that make their jobs easier.

You’ll join a growing engineering company, working on a heavily customised Dynamics 365 platform that has evolved over the past decade. It connects purchasing, invoice processing, labour recording and finance, making it a crucial part of the business.

There’s plenty to get your head around, with time and specialist support to help you do it properly.

You’ll be primarily office-based in Stoke-on-Trent, keeping you close to the people you’re supporting. There may be scope for one day a week from home.

What you’ll do

You’ll get under the skin of the existing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment, keeping it reliable while finding practical ways to improve it.

Your work will include:

• Troubleshooting issues and tracing faults across connected business processes.
• Building and improving solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Assessing older workflows and moving suitable processes to cloud flows.
• Making applications simpler and more useful for the people using them.
• Working with the external Dynamics partner on more complex development and changes.

You’ll ask questions, investigate how things fit together and understand the wider impact before making a change.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring solid experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, alongside experience developing, customising or supporting Dynamics 365 CRM and connected business applications.

You’ll also need:

• A methodical approach to troubleshooting and the patience to learn an unfamiliar system.
• Confidence working directly with users, gathering information and explaining your ideas clearly.
• The experience to work independently, knowing when to draw on specialist support.
• An understanding of technologies such as JavaScript, Power Fx and HTML.
• An understanding of APIs and data integration, plus familiarity with emerging tools such as AI Builder or Copilot Studio.
• A good understanding and experience working with a Dynamics 365 / D365 system.
