We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Azure Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise Azure environments delivered as managed services.

This is a hands-on senior role combining Azure architecture, operational excellence, security and governance . You will work across multiple enterprise clients, help resolve complex platform challenges and drive ongoing improvements in the performance, resilience and optimisation of Azure environments.

What you will be responsible for:

• Lead Azure managed services operations across multiple enterprise clients.
• Provide architectural guidance and design validation for Azure workloads.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents and platform issues.
• Drive proactive monitoring, automation, performance optimisation and service health improvements.
• Support strong cloud security, governance and operational standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and runbooks.
• Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to support service excellence and SLA delivery.

What we are looking for

• 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure and/or cloud engineering.
• 5+ years’ hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Proven experience in an MSP or enterprise managed services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Azure security, networking and governance.
• National Diploma or Degree preferred.

Required certifications

You will need:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent

And at least one of:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) , or
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
