Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer

• Design develop and optimize ETL packages using MSBISSIS to support business intelligence and data warehousing initiatives
• Work with MS SQL Server to create and maintain databases write complex queries stored procedures and functions
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data quality integrity and performance of ETL processes and data pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure timely and accurate data loads
• Participate in data modelling schema design and database performance tuning activities
• Document ETL processes data flows and technical specifications for knowledge sharing and maintenance

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of SSIS packages for data extraction transformation and loading
• Analyze existing ETL processes to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including BI developers database administrators and QA to deliver high-quality solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on MSBISSIS and SQL Server best practices
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and governance
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex data integration issues
• Stay updated with the latest MSBI tools and SQL Server features to continuously improve solution efficiency and scalability
