About The Role Net2Source is seeking a Microsoft Developer to contribute to the delivery, enhancement, and support of a data warehouse platform. In this role, you will work throughout the software delivery lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to developing, testing, and supporting platform changes. The platform interfaces with multiple upstream trading applications and provides data to downstream systems that generate regulatory reports, making reliable data processing and high-quality delivery essential.

You will collaborate with technology teams, business partners, and other stakeholders to deliver enhancements, changes, and project requirements. You will also help improve operational effectiveness by identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, strengthen documentation, and improve the team’s ability to diagnose and resolve platform issues and defects. A key part of the role is supporting a structured, reusable approach to testing so that changes are assessed consistently before release.

Qualifications The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in SQL Server database development, query optimization, and the delivery of dependable data solutions. Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL processes with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is required. Familiarity with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and the ability to use C# to extend SSIS tasks will be valuable in supporting the platform’s technical requirements.

Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is important, along with familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices. Experience using Bamboo is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the confidence to work effectively with a large stakeholder group. A DevOps mindset, a commitment to automation, and an interest in continuous improvement are highly valued. The ability to document technical work and contribute to collaborative delivery practices is also important.

Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and support SQL Server database components and data warehouse solutions. Build, maintain, and improve SSIS packages and related ETL processes that integrate data from upstream trading applications and serve downstream reporting systems. Apply SQL Server development and optimization techniques to support performance, stability, and data quality. Use C# to extend SSIS tasks and PowerShell to automate operational and development activities where appropriate.

Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, assess impacts, and translate business and project needs into maintainable technical changes. Contribute to deployment and delivery workflows, including CI/CD practices and Bamboo where applicable. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve documentation, and strengthen platform support. Help investigate defects and operational issues, communicate findings, and contribute to practical resolutions.

Support quality assurance by helping define appropriate test approaches, documenting test plans, and preparing structured, reusable test cases. Execute tests, record results, and collaborate with team members to address issues before changes are delivered. Follow established development and change-management practices throughout the delivery cycle.
