About the role

De Castro Consulting is seeking a talented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our growing team in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge enterprise resource planning solutions in a dynamic consulting environment. As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing customised solutions that drive business efficiency and digital transformation for our diverse client base. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, positioning you at the forefront of enterprise software development within the Information and Communication Technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including extensions, customisations and integrations
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards in AL (Application Language) and other relevant technologies
• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, performance and security standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing implementations
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support
• Document technical specifications, system designs and code changes to maintain comprehensive project records
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients during system implementation and post-deployment phases
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates, features and industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other developers, architects and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer or similar ERP development role
• Strong proficiency in AL (Application Language) and C# programming languages
• Solid understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture, data models and customisation frameworks
• Experience with integrations, REST APIs and web services implementation
• Familiarity with Microsoft development tools including Visual Studio Code and AL Language extension
• Knowledge of SQL Server database management and query optimisation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred but not essential)
• Understanding of business processes and enterprise resource planning concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
