Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (In-House)

We are hiring a hands-on Business Central specialist to work with management, users and our implementation partner throughout migration, implementation, cutover and go-live, followed by ongoing training and user support.

Recent, direct Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience is essential. Experience in other ERP systems or general IT administration alone will not qualify.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the implementation partner on business requirements, configuration, workflows and integrations across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing, Projects and Service operations.
• Prepare and validate migration data, coordinate reconciliation with Finance and business users, and support testing, user acceptance, cutover and go-live.
• Deliver practical user training, prepare short guides and provide step-by-step support when employees need help completing tasks in Business Central.
• Troubleshoot transactions, posting errors, permissions, workflows and reports; coordinate partner fixes and follow issues through to resolution.
• Maintain approved BC settings and user access, test updates and support improvements after go-live.
• Provide Microsoft 365 and general IT administration and support, covering users, devices, networks, backups and security.

Required experience

• At least five years of relevant ERP experience, including three years of hands-on Business Central experience.
• Hands-on responsibility in at least one Business Central implementation or migration completed within the past three years, from requirements and functional configuration through data migration, testing, cutover, go-live, training and post-go-live support.
• Strong working knowledge of BC Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory, with practical troubleshooting and data-validation skills.
• Practical Microsoft 365 administration and general IT support experience.
• Clear English communication and the ability to demonstrate processes and explain solutions to non-technical users.

Preferred: Dynamics GP/NAV migration to BC, UAE/GCC implementations, trading/distribution, project or service operations, and MB-800 certification.
